Test automation · Windows
Record once. Get real test code.
RiverProbe watches you use a web page or an Android app and writes clean, compilable Selenium and Playwright test projects: page objects, ranked locators, test data and reports. When a test fails, it tells you exactly why.
Current offer: RiverProbe Pro at the introductory price of USD 49 (regular USD 79), for one month only, until 27 November 2026. One-time payment, no subscription.
What it does
Record and play back
Work normally in Chrome or Edge. RiverProbe records each click and entry, then replays the workflow to prove it works before writing any code.
Code you own
C# test projects for Selenium and Playwright with NUnit: page objects, external locator and test-data files, parallel cross-browser runs, HTML and JUnit reports, CI files. No runtime lock-in.
Failure reports in plain words
For example: "Chrome version 155.0.8059.86 did not match the Selenium ChromeDriver version 145.0.7632.117", with the fix.
Prerequisite doctor
Checks your machine and the generated projects and says exactly what is missing (browser, driver, .NET SDK, Android SDK) and how to install it.
Scan a page, no recording
Give it a URL and get every control with its Selenium and Playwright locators, checked for uniqueness: CSS, XPath, role, text, relative, chained and filtered.
Clean-up analysis
Repeated clicks and entries on the same field are analysed and reduced to the one action that matters, with a backup before anything changes.
Secrets stay secret
Passwords are never written into code or files: tests read them from environment variables or Windows Credential Manager, and missing ones are reported with where to set them.
Android apps
Record and generate Appium tests for native Android apps on an emulator or a phone (Pro).
Local and private
Runs only on your computer. No account, no cloud, no telemetry. Your projects never leave your machine.
Planned for later versions: iOS and iPadOS apps, Windows desktop apps, Android TV and Apple TV, and code in Java, Python and JavaScript for recorded workflows. Only record and test applications you are authorized to access.
