About
A small software company with a long memory for what goes wrong.
RiverThought Technologies Inc. was founded in Ottawa by Prem Paul after more than twenty years building and testing software where a wrong answer was expensive: chemical plants, industrial sensors, government data exchange, financial risk. Everything we sell comes from that habit of proving things work.
What we do
Desktop and local-first software
RiverProbe, Hone, Kestrel and the Universal Multi-Clipboard run on your own computer and keep your data there.
Self-hosted services
My Own Cloud Space and Aura Stem are servers you can run at home; we also run Aura Stem for people who would rather not.
Quality engineering
Test automation, CI pipelines and fractional QA leadership for small teams, through riverthought.ca.
Consumer platforms
RiverThought matchmaking, a verified marriage platform for families in India and Canada, is being prepared on riverthought.in.
One set of rules
Pay once, no telemetry, clean licensing and honest limits, on every product and every website.
